Just wanted to tell you that I bought my fondue pot liao. Last Sunday from Tangs.
It consists of :
Round white color ceramic pot about 13 cm deep, 13 cm diameter
Round white color stand to contain 1 tealight
Black base thing that goes under the stand, to insulate table
4 fondue sticks
Paid like $20 after 20% discount.

he used a metal chain.. thicker than those u use for bicylces with blue pvc wrapped around.. and smack me on the head with those... when i was somewhere between 9-11 years old... -

Yup chocolate & fruits... but honestly not sure WHEN I'll actually do it That's why have to buy cheapo one else wasted... I imagine it'll be in storage for some time.. till I get some company over or something... or maybe bring to a friend's.
I've never been to Island cafe. How is the fondue?
My grouse with that cafe is that they don't serve sandwiches .... which is what I'm usually in the mood for when I'm there & hungry around brunch-time

I didn't have the fondue at the cafe (I had vietnamese popiah & latte) but I saw a couple sharing a very small plate of cut fruits.... dipped into the chocolate... they din look very pleased with the small serving...but then i think it's meant for one person only.
