Sorry CHOCO, I didn't have time to reply yesterday.
The cafe has gone more upmkt with a nice new look, and so are the prices! I think the local delicacies are still a favourite with the crowd, if you don't mind paying like $8 - $12 for laksa, or mee siam.Originally posted by choco B:How is the food at Island? I heard it's quite good.

I can never bring myself to pay more for local fare , but overpriced sandwiches are ok :S LOL. I think it's abit of dietary pinkerton syndrome in me LOL

Oh, I realised they have withdrawn the almond cookie from the blog, and that's why you didn't see the description....hmmm.... maybe cannot cope. Did they tell you when they will deliver (after you've ordered).? -
