And I think the cost scared me more than having a kid itself

Of course when I say 4k it means no expensive eating out, no plasma TV, no expensive furniture and renovation, no pets, no expensive hobbies, no expensive overseas travel, no expensive housing and mortgage...maybe 3 room flat?.........basically just have enough to have a roof and not go hungry. Yeah we have a plasma but it's fully paid for
Yes we have expensive furniture which is almost fully paid for
Yes we still have a 40k reno loan to finish servicing. Will end next year
Yes we have pets but these are cheap to maintain
No we don't have expensive overseas travel. In fact we don't even make use of our free ticket so that we can finish paying up our bills faster
Well, I wouldn't call our housing expensive though people will say that 318k is expensive for a 4 room flat though we bought it under valuation. -

And this is not including a car
We don't have a car coz the MRT brings us to our work doorstep
