looking through some emails at work (i think everyone's turned on their PCs because it's slower than heck at the moment) and noticed that my boss has kept replying to a string of emails by addressing the sender as "Beatrice" but her name is "Bernice" -
In my application for a vacation internship, I've received replies from Caltex and SPC so far.
They both say more or less the same thing: 'Dear sir, thank you for being interested in our company, but we regret to inform you that we do not offer any internship opportunities for undergraduates.'
Oh well... nothing ventured, nothing gained, I suppose.

Lunch was a failure.
The Organic Soba didnt cook soft enough for the Bak Kut Teh Soup. ANd the soup is too salty. (I was reminded that Zhang Zhi Yi says that in a movie...i think rush hour 2?)
Dinner was so so.
Vietnamese Spinach still smell MUddy after all that soaking and even re-cooking with Rice Wine, Oyster Sauce & enough sugar to give diabetics the runs!
In the end, steamed some more brocoli to add on the dishes.
The 2 different steamed egg dish was okay. One was just plain steam egg with marshed Tofu. Another was steam egg with marshed salted egg.
Wasnt able to juice the ginger, so i simply sliced them into strips and mixed them into the stripped cut pork and let set for 2 hours. Then stir fried the pork strips with ginger strips. Seasoned with organic Soysauce. Result was quite good. -

I am still on 30 January 2007.

eat well, eat healthy!! chicken is all right... if you are thinking "chinese physician" things, it's okay...
i got chicken pox, the polyclinic doctor told me to go to the chinese physician.. the chinese physician gave me a lot of herbs and stuff and told me NOT to listen to old wives' tales.. and eat properly!
by eating properly, you will have the energy to fight the virus..
for me, totally healed in 9 days.. which means no scabs, no scars, NOTHING left in 9 days!!
do the logical thing.. -
porridge is healthy mah, and can add lots of liao to make it yummy and nutritious
