not at the moment.. they will have to force someone to come take over her post first.. then the person has to understudy this position...
and this is after my colleague leaves... this will be a long drawn-out affair also because they will have to go force someone to come take her post.. and then understudy for about a month...
my colleague was supposed to be transferred early Jan.. the evil HR have not even mentioned to us about the replacement yet!
this post requires a whole lot of special requirements.. so even if people want to come to this section, the boss must screen the people.. some more, few want to come here...

K....today was a strange day.
cut my fingers cooking lunch. bled lots from my left index finger.
then was sooo tired, took a nap and woke up and thankfully started preparing dinner while my sis kept the kids entertained upstairs.
Brother in law came home with a laptop and tells me to use it instead of the room desktop. turns out. The desktop keeps hanging the main desktop internet connection somehow.
So here I am typing on a laptop with a bandaged finger. And surprisingly doing fairly well with it.
just not comfy with the external modem which is on the left side instead of the normal right.
Food wise....sis is harder to please.
I am now happily relaxing in my room, waiting for the parents & kids to have their bath before I can have mine. So I wont be using up the hot water for the kids first.
And I should mention. This laptop when goes to my favourite Bike forums Sites, has my sister's alter ego still signed in. She is the notorious jojobiatch on the Singapore Bikes Forum.
And hopefully, since last year, she did knew that I knew about her alternate nick/handle already. So far, she has not been posting in that forum. -

but strange enuff, i had less problem using this lappy's keyboard than the one in my previous co...
not like they're very different
just called pcs. the lady in charge of my employment stuff is on leave today and tomorrow.
her colleague said she'll help me with the offer letter which i have not received yet, and its already the 1st..
u think i should start work next monday? or the monday before that?
i think the earlier i start the better =X
cos if i start before the cny, i get paid for the 2 days holidays -

As for your job, it might be better to start work after you receive the official paper work. Depending on the employers, they might exploit you and you can't complain to MOM as you haven't signed the contract. That's just my thought anyway.... -

did i boast about me clearing up their pantry. The americans here has some sort of storeroom as a pantry.
I tided it and reshuffled more stuffs.
baby food stuffs now has its own shelf & the adults snacks and beverages on a higher shelf.
They do have lots of adult snacks. And most from Hawaii. From coffee chocolate covered macadamia nuts to others. Some....they have not seen in years! hur hur hur......
Their snacks dont appeal to me that much. So i merely sort them out for their easier access for them adults.
My only favourite snack out of all those, was only the Fruit Bar for the babies. Its is addictive, and its so much tastier then the versions we have in Singapore. Very healthy, no added sugar & lots of fiber. And I love their apple sauce. Its tarty and great for the babies too. -

Expecting a huge Omiyage of Macadamia Cookies, nut & Hawaiian Kona Coffees again from my sister's in law when I return home.
The japanese folks, no matter how far removed from japan, still has the culture to give lovely Omiyages. (Souvenir Gifts especially since I came with such 2 boxes of Singapore Bak Kwas for them. -
force them to eat wholemeal bread (the soft fibre will soak up all the yuck in the stomach) and also make them eat yogurt (the germs fix the stomach)
