Actually SMRT was too eager to push the Xchanges to boost revenue... But the thing is, in the 1st place it's not commerically viable..
It's better for them to re-examine their service standard... We often see their trains having longer and longer waiting time or buses that just skips calling 1 stop -

I suspect with the prices of palm oil going up...
There's going to be a whole lot of items that is going to see price hike -
