Here's what I do. And, it helps.......(Not that I do it to know cute guys, but I do it to know who & who else are in my immediate office vicinity and whether it will be okay for me to scream vulgarities at my SOs once in a while.)
Always has a packet of 10 curry puffs or snacks on hand. If its hot curry puffs, walk around the department and distribute them! -
Well, I cleaned out the pantry and kitchen once at my Volunteer Organisation.
And I always does that with every new office I join.
And since most times, I control the pantry monies, so I always does throw away stuffs by giving a days notice on the fridge and then stock up with stuffs that is decently good enough on days where collegues wont go out to eat.
Cheese slices, sandwich breads & Marmalades. Then Tins of Biscuits at the sides with Milo & stuffs.
And yep, since I do most of the washing up. I have the priviledge of bringing my own washing sponge & some detergent. Its all my own expenses. But heck...I hate to be using the office sponge of detergents. -
i visit the pantry only to refill my water pitcher
besides, it's so small you have to go outside to change your mind
enough about pantries... back to making moves -

Come to think of it. I used to have a technique which I never knew...someone told me about it.
Its about sharing food.
I used to be able to pick off friends's food from their dish and its how i am.
Until someone tells me, its actually bad manners to some, but to some guys, its a turn on....it means you are comfortable about who you are, with who you are with & shows your more relaxed girl next door side. (I hate that description, frack...I want to be gorgeous ole lady!!!)
That picking off food portion didnt work with Bear, so it might be just that some fellas are kinki and find that turns them on.
A female to confident and comfortable enough to pick off food from your meal...maybe it will work for some. But general rule is: Always ask permission.
Like maybe that guy is in the pantry eating a bread or soemthing, you can ask to taste it a bit? And offer your own lunch in return? -

Come on......S$2/- can get you enough to feed a whole department! Great when eaten hot! So good excuse to go by that guy's cubicle & make him follow u back to the pantry for some hot water to make coffee or tea!
I used to buy 5 packets of hot tau hauy & $8/- worth of You tiao and bring to office to share among collegues as breakfast. Great for networking and making friends.
Which does make me kinda popular, even if I was not suppose to be. -
