  It has been six weeks, and still no positive replies to any of the ~20 resumes I sent out looking for an internship.
  
  Oh well... it may be a blessing in disguise.... maybe I can flip burgers or something in the first few weeks of the holidays, and save up enough money for my long-overdue backpacking trip.
