I think for a lot of people, marriage is no longer about love and walking the journey of life together. Whatever happened to for better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part? Its like the verses no longer have any meaning, more like a work of fiction (like vows of fidelity in the french wedding service.......ok I just had to insert a french joke here
)

I remember a article from Readers Digest long time ago.
about this american woman, who married and has 2 children.
her husband developed parkinson diesease or something in his 50s, she divorce him and move him to live with his relatives.
her son was later diagnosed with his father's genes which means he most likely will develop the diesease too.
The way she wrote in that article, making herself sound so upright about her decision to divorce the hubby and what she went thru and how she is soo much more upbeat about her life, made me abandon my subscription to Readers Digest.

in fact, the same director made drama serials before DCJ, called Yi Dao, about a famous physician in ancient Korea
that show was more popular in Korea, and my Korean tuition kids dont noe why DCJ could be more popular in Asia than Yi Dao
this show is based on the popular story of the Sweet Potato Boy during the Three Kingdom period
these two are must watch, rather than DCJ -
Does anyone knows if there is a relief program for care givers?
I always felt that caregivers in Singapore are pretty stressed out.
Like most of them are poor, has sick, old or disabled at home.
They either has to stay home 24/7 to look after the family, or has to work in the same time to get some money to put food on the table?
I am thinking of putting myself thru some training course to help out. at least give the ccaregivers some break time once in a while.
Previously, was thinking of helping out with wigs and make up for breast cancer recovery patients. but Singapore dont have that sort of programs. -

Korean, Hongkie, Taiwanese, I all stay away from ....
I just don't get them somehow ...
korean - standard storyline - violence and rudeness everywhere, must be a reflection of their repressed confucian society ...
hongkie - it just goes on and on and on forever ... wooden acting ...
taiwanese - exaggerated acting ... everyone inside trying to look cute all the time ...
chinese - it's even worse ... tried watching those serials adapted from "chiong yau siao xuo" ? ... -
