  I'm still pondering on the best way of dealing with one of my group members who practised outright plagiarism in the group term paper.
  
  I'm thinking of trying to deal with him in an even-handed tone...
  
  ....failing which, I unleash pure hell on him.

  Yeah... that's why I plan to confront him tomorrow instead of tonight on MSN. I can then show everyone all the accumulated proof of his plagiarism as well as the method I used to discover it.
  
  It is precisely for this reason that I always try to work alone where possible. Sigh... why do I always seem to run into problems with irresponsible group members when it comes to group work?

  i got accused of plagiarism once in uni.. thing was, we gathered all the stuff and over 2 days, the bunch of us sat in the hostel and typed EVERYTHING out...
  
  we wanted to totally destroy the lecturer who made the accusations and even the legal services of the uni wanted to hang her out to dry.. but we decided to let it go..

  In other news, the plagiariser didn't attend my group meeting just now. Apparently he had something else on which was more important. Whatever the case, I showed the other two group members the plagiarism he committed, and they agreed with the proof I showed them.
  
  Since one of them is a good friend of the plagiariser, we've decided to let him talk to the guy and convince him to rewrite his 1200-word part. I believe that's a pretty fair chance that we're giving him.
  
  If he refuses to redo it, then we would have no choice but to shoot him in the back and write a letter of complaint to my prof. I flatly refuse to take responsibility for the selfish and irresponsible acts of others.
