  usually i buy books... but the kinokuniya, don't think you would have paid for the books yet..
  
  or you can go to various libraries now.. i know the one at Jurong East has a Cafe Galilee at the entrance..

  from my office building, past the bridge of the canal, toward beach road.. but you can see the kopitiam.. the front stalls are a char siew rice stall and the other is a vegetarian food stall.. beside the vege stall is the brewed soup stall.. it's inside..

  wat i can visualize is. MRT > ur office building > cross canal bridge > walk under the block of flats > cross traffic light > hit police post > LOST!!!!!!

  long before you need to cross the road...
  
  after the bridge, instead of walking towards the block of flats, walk along the path towards the rubbish tip but still towards bridge road.. it's the block which is connected to the market...

  bugs here in the US are super strong.
  
  took me about an hour to develop the itch at the throat before it starts to hurt full time.
  
  Then.....as i lay in the bed....and got up again to wash the dishes....the aching intensifies till i can hardly move.
  
  Thankfully, sis came home from Target with a big bag of Halls Cough Drop with throat soothies. Sucking on them now.
  
  Might need to take on Tyrenol? Their 'panadol' to break the aching & the fever.
  
  My feet feels like its freezing over while some parts of my body felt too warm.
