no.. seriously.. there were demonstrations...
it was hilarious
i joined in a march because i happened to be in the city.. it was cool.. it was for Gay and Lesbian Rights.. i was welcomed warmly when they found out was straight..
the demonstrations are cool things there..
but there was one where things got a little bit messy.. we watched it on the screens in the uni lounge.. some leftist society was showing vids of the demonstration they were part of earlier in the day... we recognised one of the hostel druggos dancing on top of a police van
went back to the hostel later "hey Camille, saw you on the police van... you were wasted?"
she replied... "yeah.. i was high as a kite" -
