errmmm....I cant just buy shades off any shelf. Some gives me headaches, and the curvature makes me dizzy.Originally posted by Fatum:you know, it's not a matter of getting a branded pair of shades to look cool, but I think sight is a very precious gift, so I don't screw around when it comes to shades ... some of those cheapo pairs may actually do more harm than good, the tint will cause the pupils to dilate, and more UV rays actually get in ......
I'll save up till I can buy another pair of oakleys .......![]()

Apparently they are both from well-to-do families and as their parents are always out they have sex in the girl's house very often
Being a mother at 9
tried wearing contacts then shades ? .....Originally posted by viciouskitty74:errmmm....I cant just buy shades off any shelf. Some gives me headaches, and the curvature makes me dizzy.
I've only had a couple of shades which I wore and love it, the no brand ones. One I brought back from Seattle. Stole if off the table of my friend. he let me keep it. And it really was my favourite.
But I lost it, somewhere between the 2 weeks before I flew to USa again.
And now......I cant find a pair of shades I can wear w/o walking in a zig zag fashion.
astimatism really sucks.

You know I was thinking of getting those retro looking glasses with tinted glass that changes with the concentration of UV lights. I don't take contacts well coz my eyes are very dry

What's the diff between photochromic lenses and transition lenses?Originally posted by fudgester:Wow.
Anyway, I got them at 10% discount because I showed the optician my matriculation card.
But even so, I should think that $180 is reasonable for spectacles with photochromic lenses. They're multicoated and scratch-resistant as well.
Outside, Transitions lenses cost $300 at least if you include the frame. You'll be paying mainly for the brand name.

Try to avoid contact lenses unless you have the patience to clean them.
The lenses that you were thinking of getting (to change with concentration of UV lights) are transition lenses.![]()
