another young man was the son of my old SO at police coast guard, only child of aged parents. he has a hole in his brain somewhat, and his brain & blood was leaking off him.
the boy has nosebleeds often, and the last I know...he was limping badly cos some blood clotted and pressing on his nerves.
the parents are much later resigned to know that their son may go, in 2 years time, and blind and disabled before he truly goes.
the boy was very upbeat though, keep pushing himself thru football practises & whatever sports he can enjoy doing. -

Had a collegue who had tumours in his brain, goes for so many surgeries and thankfully still alive.

talking abt limping, i am limping slightly coz my right ankle joint is superbly loose
it doesnt help that i have osteochondritis problem, where the joint is wearing out
had surgery for it four five years ago, doc said it wouldnt cure, coz no blood flows there or something, so i am expecting arthritis in my old age
maybe 10 years down the road i would be like the Bear??

At least it can help slow down the process
If not later need to go for joint replacement u can really cry
My colleague described the procedure to me and I was like

My greatest fear now is that I have to go for knee replacement coz my joints there aren't very good -
