i didn't like Ransom or Die Hard either...
and i absolutely hated the crappy Harrison Ford pics like Air Farce One and It's Clear The President's A Danger

Anyways, I enjoy movies from a wide genre. Crappy movies won't be immortalised in my memory, but once in a while, a gem comes your way and you'll save some scenes in your memory to savour.
By 'Action', I wasn't thinking of those 'B'-grade action movies but rather, the better blockbusters like Ransom, Die Hard, etc. -

I was complaining to SO I want more action and not seeing that actor (what's his name) and Gong Li making out and you can hardly see anything ><
But then again, I used to fall asleep easily so...
I thought that there should have been more gripping action in that movie. Instead, they spent too much time building up the tension. Not a really memorable movie, IMO. But I think Gong Li acted well there. -

And the Harrison Ford movie where the bad guys held his family captive in exchange for his help in transferring funds over from his company or something... Also a good movie! -

the things i remember from the TV Miami Vice was the drug/arms dealers blowing up Sonny Crockett's Ferrari to show that their stinger missile was the real deal.. then he got his white Testarossa..
and 2 tracks by Jan Hammer, the Miami Vice Theme and Crockett's Theme...
one series i WANT to get on DVD is Crime Story.. it's probably one of the grittiest and stylish crime series ever

I hate what they did with the last hannibal movie, totally copped out and changed the ending.
