I still remember the gist of what he told us:
1. For all multiple choice questions, just pick the odd answer
e.g. if you understand 3 of the choices but not the 4th one, pick the 4th option
if you do not understand 3 of the choices, pick the one you understand
if half, half, anyhow choose. Dun bother spending too much time reading the passages.
2. For compo, use the simplest chinese to write. Use only words you understand instead of trying to use cheem words. Don't be afraid to write like a primary school kid even though this is the AO levels. The idea is to minimise mistakes 
For me, MCQ is like taking personality test... go with ur guts feeling!
compo, i agree... use words tat u noe how to write CORRECTLY, no matter how simple. plus if u use a sentence to "express" wat a 2-word term can, hey u reach ur word quota faster!
to score pts, write soap operas to win sympathy... -
Actually my tutor taught me something like AV for my 'O's
But she also taught me how to guess which is the correct word by looking at the strokes and for comprehension how to look for answers
Like 1st question is in the 1st paragraph etc
I got a B3 for 'O's -
you know what I hated most of chinese exams .... the invariable "fill in the blanks" .... that one sure habis ... cos it's not MCQ ... if you didn't know ... you could only leave it blank ... -

I dunno it depends how you view it
You can view it as strictly Reality ...as in the other world is reality too or it's just imagination made up by a lonely child.
But it is dark >< -
and of course, the ladies, and some of the guys, will enjoy the sight of the Spartans with their buddy builder psysiques clad in nothing but cape and loincloth

In the NUS Central Library now.
I left the lecture halfway just now.... I was rapidly falling asleep. It's not the fault of the lecturer - he's actually quite good at what he does.
But my biological clock is really out of whack. Two days ago I took a six-hour nap during the day and didn't sleep at all at night.
Yesterday I slept three hours in the afternoon and slept four hours at night.
Sigh.... -
