Can work la. Alot of my friends have difference in education like University vs ITE and it all worked out so far. It is also highly dependent on the other party's willingless to upgrade his/herself.

My family is above average, his is poor but no issues at all
Our growing up experience was very different too.
However, I think if you start worrying if the relationship will work up coz you don't think the difference will cause it to work, then chances are it won't. -
