Erhmmm I think Evian is over-ratedOriginally posted by Rhonda:Funny thing was, when they did a taste test of various types of water, ie. Evian, other bottled distilled water, and even Singapore's NewWater, on a few volunteers, Singapore's New Water was rated No. 4 out of the eight that were tested! Think if I'm not mistaken, New Water ranked above Evian!![]()

The govt here's just been really really s---l---o---w to react to the drought situation. THey should've built more dams years ago but now, it's too late cause there won't be enough rainfall to fill up any new dams anyways. And if you look at the photos of the Maroondah Dam I put up in another thread in here, you can see the water levels are really dropping!
It's worse in the suburbs up North... they've had entire rivers dry up!Those towns have been in Stage 3 / Stage 4 Water Restrictions for a long long time already.
At one stage, a few farmers committed suicide cause they couldn't sustain their livestock / crops anymore and got into deep financial problems.

It taste horrible!!!!
I hate the taste!
Easy, it was a 'blind' taste test, the water from various sources were poured into unmarked cups so the testers can't be prejudiced in any way.Originally posted by sbst275:Oh my...
But how could NEwater be ranked better if they say it's yucky?
Committed suicide?

Well, good luck to them! If they continue (mis)treating nurses they way they are, let's see them retain a good majority of them. The nursing grads, esp the younger ones these days, don't really put up with a lot of the shit that Nursing Admin tends to give.Originally posted by sbst275:Em... Singapore intakes
Now there's 2 poly taking in some 1100 nursing students + NUS now also offers Nursing degree courses
