The 2 scenes which I was touched was the mother tucking the kids in bed and the old couple going to bed together
One of the factors is the failure to convey the message to the captain of the Titanic about the presence of iceberg.
When I was at Uni, we also studied about one of the causes - the brittleness of the material used for the ship. -

if the dealer has an open ace, you can buy insurance..
pairs may be split but there is no blackjack from split aces..
you may double down on the next card...
the shoe is usually filled with 4 decks of cards

In a way, yes. Also, there was a weakness in the rivets on the side of the ship where it hit the iceberg. It pretty much got "torn apart" at the joint which made the lower deck of the Titanic filled with water causing it to sink quicker than it should.Originally posted by the Bear:they used the wrong type of steel?

oh.. the rivets..
have to say that i rarely watch the disaster documentaries, those where they build things.. more into the critters type, and history.. something like the other day where they figure a roman legion was captured by the chinese because the natives in a part of china had very distinctly caucasian features and that in their history, there were many military tactics which were roman.. like the "fish scale" formation which is the same as the "testudo" or turtle formation of the romans...
those and Mythbusters where they blow stuff up

the crabs look pretty good.. and for a kopitiam stall, not too bad because they accept VISA...
going to order crab for mom and dunno what kind of meat dad wants.. he's difficult for the sake of being difficult sometimes... -
I envy you to have nice and cheap seafood throughout the year over there. The seafood in Oz is very expensive and I miss having chilli crabs. We will only have crabs here when there's special occasion.

heh heh heh....its been heck of a night and day so far.
Nite, went on a date, brought me to Walmart. I shopped, he shopped. He gave me a good commentary about Jelly Beans. I told him about the time where I spent 2 hours shopping for soaps at Thailand Tesco last year.
In the end, bought different packaging & producers of the jelly beans. manz...they got history story wan!
Then, got some more stuffs and even found those hard to find revlon Fire& Ice parfums that is not available in asia. They will make great gifts at the very least.
We couldnt find soap on a rope. I need to search thru internet I guess.
Most folks in USA, I tell them about going where for a date and everyone just burst out laughing.
I was even telling my old pilot fren in Hawaii and he was gruffing so much more.
I am like"Walmart is famous! To come to USa and not visit Walmart is sacrelidge!" (I forgot how to spell.)
Espeically when I mentioned that I am upset that I couldnt bring back a Hello Kitty dillldo.
He was then prompted about telling me that time, the pilots & stewardess was leaving japan hotel back to the airport and someone left her dillldo in the hotel room and the concerige boy came around to the bus and insist on asking who the dilldo belongs to.
a male captain finally tells the boy that its his, and to leave the dildo at the front of the bus, so the whole team can finally move off to the airport!

And just now, on way home from grocery shopping with grandpa & grandma...I told them the same thing about my date bringing me to Walmart and they too laughed hard. and we had a jolly time discussing about supermarkets in USA.
they dont know what is 'Tesco' though.
And no way am I ever going to be discussing dilldos with grandpa & grandma

Little boy is having a fever, and still insisting on playing with the garden hose.
And little gal is developing into the stage where she wont sit on a chair, and only wants to be carried around. She will cry with serious tears running from her eyes if I was as much to put her in a stroller, push car or even on the ground.
She is soo clingy! (My arms are aching.
)
