the one which was open is in the wet market.. can go there and get feeder fish.. 1 bag of about 15 to 20 little fish for $1
no African Clawed Frogs there
the other two which are closed specialise in marine fish..

So far the 2 places I saw are the aquarium behind my office and this aquarium in Yishun
The Yishun aquarium has firebelly salamaders too
really cute. Too bad I don't have a seperate tank for them
Ok coz I go to Yishun when I visit my in-laws but office is best bet since it is just behindOriginally posted by the Bear:i'll go bug you when the tank appears in my office

Actually we've too many family themed drama these daysOriginally posted by fudgester:Maybe....
But even so, MediaCorp has a tendency to take a winning idea, milk it of everything it's worth and toss it at viewers in all manner of permutations ad nauseum. The English Channel 5 is particularly guilty of this.
For instance, they realised in the mid-90s that family-themed shows like PCK and Growing Up were doing well. As a result, they tossed all manner of similarly family-themed shows like Justice Pao, Brand New Towkay, Happy Belly, The Road Home, and so and so forth - all to no success.
The only show I ever watch on Mediacorp these days is Prison Break.... and it's an imported show.![]()

I only liked 'The Weakest Link'Originally posted by fudgester:The same goes for their game shows...
I was interested in the Singapore version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? when it first came out.
But then they came up with episodes with Twins Special, Taxi Drivers Special, Beauty Queens Special, PCK Special (two of such specials, in fact!), Scholars' Special, and what have you.... week in, week out.
Good grief man.... All that most of us want is normal contestants going for a shot at the money. I totally lost interest after they came up with these specials week after week without end.
They totally don't seem to know the value of moderation.![]()
