I believe there will be many people gathering around Federation Square where a big TV screen is set up for people to watch the F1 GP. If one can't go to the race, he/she can always watch that at Federation Square (opposite Flinder Street Station).Originally posted by the Bear:i love weekends like that in melbourne...
you can go outside and sit around
i miss walking around the city, with no place in particular to go, nothing to do..
i've got no deeds to do
no promises to keep
i'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
let the morning time drop all its petals on me
life i love you, all is groovy

maybe next year, will go to Federation Square instead.. cheaper
and you get to watch more of the race but without the insane noise..
a few rookies are damned good.. Lewis Hamilton is actually driving faster than Alonso!
Raikkonen is always fast.. he's the Iceman.. freon in his veins..
i notice that the Johnnie Walker ad looks heck of a lot better with Raikkonen

that's why ...Originally posted by the Bear:i'd cage a pup if it tears up my room and soils my clothes
but then, if it tears up my room, no one will see any difference
I think it's nicer and clearer watching it on TV than watching it at Albert Park.... it all depends on individual I suppose, if they prefer to watch the race or just be there for the experience.Originally posted by the Bear:Super Aguri = last year's Honda

wonder what tyre choices did the other front-runners make...
Massa is a bit too cautious.. maybe he's waiting for the pitstops? but he's being held up too much...
Raikkonen is still going great guns..
I'd love to be there with my camera and monopodOriginally posted by the Bear:the experience is good..
imagine there with the crowds, cheering and groaning with them..
and the souvenirs.. the pins, the tees, the shirts
i'll go tell the boss i'm going next year
