  The mitochondria is only part of the story.
  
  Before that, there's glucose activation => glycolysis => fermentation => cellular respiration => Krebs Cycle before the mitochondria finally gets into the picture.
  
  And even the process in the mitochondria seems pretty complicated to me... there's the electron transport chain process and chemiosmosis (where the bulk of the energy finally gets harvested) .
  
  At times like this I get reminded of why I'm doing mechanical engineering instead of the life sciences.

  Well, on my part I've never really had a good appreciation of the life sciences. I'm more of an applied physical sciences guy - which explains my current major.
  
  The reason why I took this General Biology module is because I felt that I knew nuts about the life sciences, and that can't be all that good. This module is more of an introduction module to the life sciences, and is barred to those with A Level Biology and above.
  
  And besides, I still had one more Unrestricted Elective Modules requirement left to clear. In this category, I can take darn near anything I want, so I decided, hey, why not?
  
  And nah... I don't regret taking it.
  
  I'm just having a splitting headache from this whole energy-harvesting thing.

  dunno.. i enjoyed the first PE but they changed the control system in the 2nd to be like Resident Evil so i could not play it
