i hate being ambushed like that.. and worse, i've got forewarning this time of today's "ambush"

again...i made hot chocolate, with peppermint schnapps alcohol & lots of whipped cream on top.
stomach starting to run.
this has to be the strangest way to go on a diet. To purge out all those sinful fatty foods. -
thought can go get things done already.. then a vendor for my boss's stupid WITS convention thing came... hope he'll take a long time so i can make my getaway but i doubt it..
had some biscuits already still hungry..
worse is another section came looking for some tender specs of something.. it's in the boss's room.. i want to look for it myself but then, my boss says she'll go look for it.. she'll probably do that before she speaks to me and it'll all just delay lunchtime
lunchtime is sacred to a cubicle warrior.. we can let go of it occasionally but it's getting to be too often -

stomach upset, you go ahead and drink the two things are are supposed to avoid.. alcohol and dairy products
and no.. it won't purge whatever is inside, the stuff will stay in your stomach and ferment, while the other stuff which your body should absorb is thrown out

the other guy from the other section came in to look for something in the specs of some tender which we did but they took over.. thing is, a clause they were looking for doesn't exist.. it's an option...
the guy figured it out and told me.. so i told my boss no need to look for the specs thing already..
boss kept looking and now she's gone to the other section to find out what they want..
AND I ALREADY TOLD HER NO NEED!!
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HER???

av's right.. it's not the work that causes stress.. it's the people around you
right now, i don't know what the hell my boss is up to, i think the amount of work she has taken on has gotten to her and her micromanaging everything is not helping her or us get the job done...
just tell us to go get it done and we will.. just accept that it will be done a certain way which may not be what you want.. but it will be done...

it's a project which isn't ours anymore.. and back at the branch which was CREATED for it..
we just have the paperwork which THEY also have... identical paperwork!!
the other side thinks maybe it was left out of theirs... then realise it's an unexercised and expired option for something.. so there is NO paperwork..
they tell me to forget it...
since my boss is keeping the files, i go tell her to forget it and there's no need to check anymore.. but no.. she has to pursue the thing.. wasted 15 minutes of my time listening to her jabber away incoherently about the tender which happened in early 2005 and the company that DID NOT GET THE TENDER, while flipping through about 500 pages of crap..
i think she's snapped under pressure and is falling back to the little details which frankly, the people from her side of the organisation which merged with us, is infamous for...
