these people are part of the Senior Citizen Neighbourhood Watch thing for the police.. just that they helped us do some stuff, so we invited them for a walkabout at our Heritage Gallery...
we've given them the usual mugs, flashlights and whatever already...
i'm stumped for ideas -
I don't think I'll have the energy to endure another Air Force flight. Especially if it's from here. There is no direct route to Sg so I'll have to take the "milk run". I'll have to drive to Travis AFB (wherever that is) and from there endure several legs - to McChord AFB in Seattle, then to Anchorage in Alaska to Yokota in Japan then to Sg. I can't take the prescribed codeine sulphate, cos that's the surefire way of sleeping during the lectures later. And I can't sleep, cos the lectures later are pretty important.
I forgot to bring my laptop adaptor, and as a result, my laptop is as good as deadweight for my backpack, since my laptop battery spluttered and died a few weeks ago.

anyway, most opportune.. a vendor just sent a catalog of stuff by email... they have stock to clear.. a lot of it is like, left 50 to 100 pieces coz the orders are usually in bulk of multiples of 1000pcs...
may give them fanny pack for about $3 or nylon travel document bag for about $4 plus stainless steel vacuum flask for about $7 or FM clock radio for about $6
