In related news, I've just bought a new calculator.
A (relatively) cheap but decent Casio model with a familiar interface. It cost me $20 - cheap for a calculator, but not to me.
I just hope this one doesn't go missing as well. -

Sine, cosine and tangent were initially devised for finding the lengths of the sides of a triangle as well as its angles. Its applications are far-ranging... scientists and engineers use it for all sorts of things ranging from finding loads on structures to analysing supersonic fluid flow.
Which is why I absolutely need my calculator and didn't think twice about plonking down another $20 for another one when it got lost.
I'd be glad to teach you someday if and when the opportunity permits it.
