lets just say, bedroom, $400/- not including furnitures. You can bring your own wardrobe and mattress bed.
Utilities means paying for the electricity & conservancy charges yourself when I am not in town. If i am in, then we spilt the bill? Especially if its hot nights and we need aircon?
my place gets very windy from Aug to Jan. The wind practically rattles at the windows wan. You can tahan? Plus some carzy people around, peeping toms and only one small bathroom/toliet to share.
Oh...and not much furniture. I threw out a lot of stuffs and gave away a lot of barang barang.

Got a fren got a 4 room flat at Punggol 21, fully renovated, never stayed in. So they are looking for people to buy. Though not in financial difficulties, so not hurry to sell.

I was looking at the design, and realised that I can sort of enclose the living room with glass wall and it becomes another bedroom linked to the kitchen common bathroom/toliet.
And if the master bedroom can have one glass walls to replace a dividing wall. It will look a bit like those 2 bedroom studio apartments.
And the dining area if you want pure sunlight, just pull away the curtains of either bedrooms and it will look great. But provided you got keep your bed neat so the look is continuous. Open concept!
Plus with those on the wall tv screens, internet accesses. One person may not even need to leave the room except to have dinner. And we each can watch our own tv programs w/o interupting others.
