  me doing toenails.
  
  choco reminded me that i have been buying too much tolietries in shoutbox just now.
  
  and i must admit. i did bought 12 bars of lever 2000 soaps. It is infused with vaseline lotion comes with a free bottle of Vaseline lotion.

  my nail colours are from sally hanson. it was a packaged bundle of a bottle of base & top coat and a nail colour, interesting named: 29 HONOR. a brownish pink colour.
  
  last week. i think its karma telling me to be Honorable against those who dont have it.

  so she did it for the love of god which means she had motive to do it. she did what she did it because it was part of what she felt or perceived as the love of god.
  
  you refuse to see any benefit where there is.

  erm lever 200 is a soap as in those we use to clean ourselves int he bathroom? or somethign naughty? why need vaseline infused?

  most of the stuffs here are cheaper in USA.
  
  I got the nail colour because i wanted a basecoat. It came in the bundle.
  
  Then just now, i went and brought the nail polish remover to remove the old faded chipped nail colours.
  
  then just before i put in the colours, i noticed its name.
  
  I think its god/fate way, to keep honor on my toes, to remind me how i should behave.

  i value love and doing things out of love without the need of "benefits"

  i never said she sought benefits. i merely said she did the things she did because there are benefits.
  
  and benefits include the feeling that did the right thing, being glad youhelped others, having the knowledge that you did things out of selfless love, keeping toy our values, etc

  washing the dead leper won't "benefit" anyone or anything.. yet she did...
  
  sometimes, we put aside looking for benefits...
  
  would you look for benefits in things you do out of love?
  
  if you do, maybe it isn't.. that's the paradox of love

  I won't know for sure but she probably felt compelled to do it out of compassion and would have felt bad if she didn't.
  
  so thats probably the benefits too.
  
  we may not exactly think of benefits when we do the acts, but the benefits do seem to cause us to do the act.

  ahhh.. ultimately, everyone is selfish to you...
  
  sadly, with that kind of philosophy, a person becomes twisted and bitter as the person becomes older (note i didn't use the word "grows" older)
  
  i guess the long and short of it is.. sometimes there are no ulterior motives...
  
  stop looking for them
  
  after this exchange with you, i start to understand why a lot of people especially at work view me with suspicion.. and some, downright hostility..
  
  i never had, and will never have ulterior motives for what i say and do at work.. and they seek to find these motives... and they fail to find them where there are none...
  
  the lack of such motives make them feel uneasy... they think that i have somehow plotted it in such a way that they are unable to see.. and then start to suspect me...
  
  i brushed that aside when i was told this by a friend and colleague... one of those good friends made at work... i guess he was right..
