Labour government always promises to give you this and that but where do you think they get the $$ from? By introducing different taxes. Liberal government introduced GST to abolish all the different taxes. The GST for each state is kept within the state itself and it should be enough to provide public school funding etc. but it doesn't seem to be that case.
