heck! when we were running win98, my PC was full of stuff which made the PC run better than the stock PCs... i was using Star Office, Opera and a lot of other things which the IT fellas didn't know about... you know.. open source or free stuff
best part about it was that i was opening stuff from all the different places which they could not open with the stock programs (microsoft stuff)
and i became the guy they went to...
the programs were all free, while the organisation was paying a crapload for the MS licences and i wasn't using any of it
so, i still think that the locking of xp and vista now, is just a conspiracy to wring more money out of stupid organisations whose management don't know any better... -

i burst out luaghing when i saw them offering vista as the principle OS on offer and saying it was more secure and easy to use. -

This is why, if the creators of youtube were singaporean and they had launched it in Singapore, it would have died an unatural death instead of being the worldwide success it is today.
Let's face it, if you have some highly innovative entreprenueral project, you cannot afford to launch it in Singapore. -

Me, the in laws brought me to Costco today.
I bought frozen fish sticks, chicken nuggets & some other junk foods that the kids loves.
Plus lots of ripe avacados for my ultra rich, foamy avacado milkshake.
even manage to get a packet of 3 elbow length and thick sausage which my sister loves to chow down.
She saw it in the fridge and she went: Its so thick and big!!!
I know it sounds kinki.....but her expression was funny. -
i can't believe my boss just said okay to something which requires us to work on a saturday night...
it's a SATURDAY NIGHT!!!
and my friends are getting married the next day!!! DAY!! as in not night!!
and i got to work on a saturday night!!
if the rest of the asswipes do not have a life, or less life than i have, please let us have some semblence of rest and hope of having a life!!
