An update on that 17-year old friend of mine who got enticed into an MLM:
She's about to start her poly life this coming Monday, and yet she seems pretty bent on juggling both full-time MLM work and full-time studies. When I told her that most people just work part-time flipping burgers while doing their studies, she seems convinced of being able to do both full-time work and studying at the same time....
'Don't ask me how I'll do it, but I will do it', so sayeth she.
And when I asked her how much money she has earned so far, she said that it was 'against company policy to disclose my earnings'. When I asked her why that was the case, she told me not to poke too much into her affairs.
When I asked if she had made a net profit in general, she just said 'Erm... sorta'.
I'm having bad vibes over this.

but on the otehr hand, you can do mlm and study at the same time. mlm isn't that heavy on time generally. -

The changing world climate is resulting in polar ice caps melting earlier than usual and polar bears have been found drowned because they had to swim out further to catch their food and some of them end up being too exhausted to swim back so they drowned.
Has anyone else seen the photo of the polar bear and her baby standing on a small, melting ice mountain (or what was once an ice mountain), looking desolate? It was on the back page of last month's national geographic. Sad photo... -

What irks me, though, is the fact that she's been using her parents' money so far. The last time I told you guys about this, she used $2000 of her parents' money. Now I'm quite scared to ask how much more of her parents' money she has spent since then.
The way I see it, if you want to go about making investments or something, then at least use your own money. If you don't have the money, then don't go about leeching away other people's money. -
