honeymouse, don't worry about me. I'm a survivor.Originally posted by honeymouse:You certainly give me the impression that something is bothering you lately. Is everything ok with you? i haven't come across a piece of clothing that can last for 10 years without fading, breaking, having holes, or can fit me for the whole 10 yearsOriginally posted by Rhonda:$10 for something that lasts two months before it falls apart or $100 for something else that lasts... well, your lifetime, until you no longer fit it?
I think at the beginning, when we're just starting out, we may not be able to afford better-quality stuff, but once we're more established in life, that might be the preferred way to go cause in the long run, it's more economical.![]()

It can be. It's a different type of loneliness from what I experienced when I was living alone in SG. Thought all those years of living alone would have prepared me but it's different cause my friends were just a phone call away, and mom was just the next block away during my last few years in SG.Originally posted by honeymouse:![]()
Anyway, just take good care of yourself. I know it can be "lonely" living by yourself sometimes especially in a foreign country where you don't have many friends to turn to.

Anyways, I'm probably demented, not parkinson's.I think I probably need to pick up some addiction, like coffee / chocolates / whatever!
Probably just need some distraction and a little bit of evil in my too-sterile and boring life here!

The quality of the top was good in the first place. Strong, thick material, not easy to get unravelled. And the print was in good ink too. It never faded!Originally posted by hisoka:![]()

I reckon, with the constant hot one minute, cold the next kinda weather here, the constant expansion and contraction must have given me those darn brain-cracks! Brain has probably shrunk as a result, mate!Originally posted by choco B:Hehehhe just exploring all possibilities

That top was bought at a Holland V boutique when I was a teenager. At that time, to pay $35 for a tee-shirt kinda printed top was considered ex! (Unlike these days!Originally posted by hisoka:won't get out of shape de lah.

Yep, totally understand the type of loneliness you're talking about. You have only been here for a year.... I believe you'll be fine after getting to know a few more friends in Oz and have got a car to drive yourself around.Originally posted by Rhonda:It can be. That's why I tranquilize myself with Korean TV Dramas... they are my current poison of choice!Hong Kong DVD's are too expensive here, and the Jap series don't come with English subtitles here, so what to do? Recently, I've given up on the English translations in the Korean dramas so I've resorted to reading the Chinese subtitles instead!
