  Well, I won't be applying for the position. I'm already the mod of three forums (check my siggy).
  
  But then again, the Islamic forum and Cafe Casual are both very low-key.
  
  I don't do a lot of moderating work at Whinehouse, either... I just open Mookie's Tuesday thread once a week.
  
  The only really serious intervention I had to do there was the attack of that anti-JC troll.

  I missed my flight.
  
  Here's the gist.
  
  Reached airport at 3+4 am
  
  Went to northwest counter.
  
  Aetos & NW counter stuffs wants to see my itinery for my flight back to sg on July 22. I dont have it with me. They couldnt find it in their system either. So they denied my check-in.
  
  Tried calling to USA, the blady public phones in airport dont take visa or master card, so I was going around trying to find a shop that sells phone cards. Thankfully Cheers sells phone cards. (I passed my phone to my friend liao, no point bringing it to USA where it cannot be used.)
  
  Called to USA, and roughly got my brother in law to confirm that my return flight from USA will on American Airlines & JAL.
  
  Went back to JAL counter next to the NW counter. JAL staffs dont come in till 5.30am.
  
  Waited.
  
  5.05am NW counter closes.
  
  5.23am JAL counter staffs came.
  
  So there I was, with the right itineries, but not on the plane.
  
  Got home at 5.55am. Sleep.
  
  Now at Katong Cyber cafe, w/o a phone. And waiting for family to re-establish me on a new flight to USA.
  
  I hated it at the airport. CAAS, Aetos has twisted the TSS security features to this extent?
  
  It used to be the US Immigrations job to turn back travellers that they are suspicious of with intention to be illegal immigrants in USA.

  You missed lots of things.
  
  the kids nanny wasnt coming back to work for the family. And the kids are due in school only in July.
  
  So its hard to find another person to get use to the family to do cooking and minding the kids.
  
  So auntie is back in sg, unload the stuffs and to fly back to usa to continue the cook, nanny role for another 3 months until the kids starts school and my sister can cope better.
  
  so...back in sg for 4 days. then its back to usa.
  
  i havnt even get over my jet lag yet.

  You lucky girl. Anyway, you probably enjoy being in USA than back in Singapore. Have a nice and safe trip when you eventually leave again for the USA.
