Ok, I just bought something interesting while I was at Carrefour just now...
I bought a toy bank in the shape of an ATM which can actually count your money for you and keep track of how much money you have inside it.
It automatically counts the money that you deposit, and when you withdraw money from it, it will deduct the amount that you've withdrawn.
Very good way to help kids save money, and it is indeed a better form of storage for my loose change than the old pencil case that I've been saving it in.
Cost: $15.

i just chuck my loose change in a metal cylinder which used to contain chocolate..
last year, i saved $480 -
Well, I recommend this little gadget if you're thinking of getting a birthday present for your little brats... I mean, nephews and nieces.
It's fun, it's educational, and it helps kids appreciate better the value of thrift.

Went to Holland V for a walk after dinner just now... soooo nostalgic! So much changes but it's still so vibrant!
Had a pedicure done too! Hehehe! Might return tomorrow to let them paint nice flowers on my big toes!
Cold Storage @ Holland V looks really posh now! So neat and bright! I really miss the Meiji Yogurt and Pokka drinks! It's great to be back! -

I think, Singapore guys really look good. I went around looking at Singapore men and they all look pretty decent. I'm sure most of them lead rather 'boring', gwai gia lives, but that's really a plus point! I mean, at least they don't lead drug-laden lives and are unemployed bums.
I think our men are really quite decent! -

I went to JB (CitySquare) for dinner wif a few colleagues just now. On the way towards JB, our Sg customs officers all face no smile. Even can see a guy yawn
But when we reach JB customs, the officers there all very polite. One even bother to tell me where to look for good and tasty tek tarik.
On the way back to Sg, at our woodlands CP, can see 2 Gurhka armed wif MP5 and same thing. Officers all look so moody and tired. Are they all over work?????????
One stupid question to ask those who travel often to JB, is it a must to put ur mobile phone thru the Xray machines??? -

yes, our guys are so severely overworked you won't believe it... and the pressure of working there, again, you won't believe it...
and yes, the mobiles should be put through because they set off the metal detector.. easier if you just put them through the x-ray -

Anyways, boring = predictable, settles into a routine with no nasty surprises like, "Honey, I've got something to tell you... I have a mistress with two kids in Bangkok!"
Humdrum = again, no nasty surprises like, "Sweetie, I just quit my job, sold the house and the car, and am flying to Seychelles tomorrow... without you!"
Irritating... oh well, as a couple grows old together, sometimes he'll irritate her, sometimes she'll irritate him. Inevitable part of growing old together!
I think... maybe I'll go ask to be matchmade!
I may not be the typical slim and pretty Singapore girl but I come with an instant Aussie visa.
In this case, I'll be the one to sing "Come Fly Away, Let's Fly Away With Me!" -
