How many days are you going to be in Perth for? For a short trip, it's not too bad. There are a few nice places to visit. You can do the river cruise. Quite nice. Find out what kind of investment your monthly contribution is being put into, and what kind of annualized return it is yielding. Find out also if it is a fixed or variable return. It's your money. Start knowing what it's doing, and what it can do for you. The stock market is currently doing extremely well (the DJIA is currently above 13,000! ) and you should be taking advantage of it. -
