  My former manager at Pan Pacific hasn't responded to my emails, and I always get her answering machine whenever I try to call her directly. I've left a message on the machine, but she still hasn't gotten back to me.
  
  Ah well... bugger it. I think I'll just try to get a vacation job at another hotel.

  I've been trying to get admin jobs as well...
  
  But the sucky thing is that many of them seem to want 'Chinese-speaking' personnel only. I guess I can't really blame some of these companies... maybe they really do need people who can liase with China-based clients.
  
  Heck, once I tried applying for the position of Temporary Product Tester at an electronics firm... but the woman who answered the phone told me curtly that they only wanted females.

  the thing which gets me in the FGTH album was the use of spoken word in their songs..

  could be right
  
  many females i know couldnt operate simple electronic stuff, would be wonderful if their products could be that simple
