Melbourne... there's stuff I like about it, stuff I don't. But in a nutshell, I won't be returning to SG for good anytime in the near future!
I love the freedom I can get in Melbourne! Opportunities abound and I can do so much more there!
Yup! I've gone out of town liao! Thanks to honeymouse and Bear's sis, I got to explore the countryside, pick blueberries and apples in the farms, and travel about. When a close buddy from Singapore went to Melbourne for my b'day, we went to Great Ocean Rd, Phillip Island where the penguins were, and had a guided tour of other tourist attractions in town. So yeah... been to a lot of places liao!

I very rough and tumble one! There are upper-class Aussies who are very prim and proper, ol' style types who originated from the UK and they really mind their manners and have the British stiff upper lip kinda bearing but they make me nervous and I feel like I can't breathe!
I prefer the simpler and more humble 'common folks'. That's why my posts sound quite rough n tumble one. Not very ladylike, I know.

When I arrived in Singapore, I looked at the SG guys and thought, they all looked quite alright and presentable! And most of them look like gwai kia's! Great change from the druggies, drunks, playboys and lazy blokes I see so often back in Melbourne!

so technically i'm supposed to sign up for junior college, then earn the correct credits to proceed?

Actually, not easy to use sunblock here cause we sweat so much here. Everything turns mushy! Yucks!
Anyways, the hole in the ozone layer is bigger over Australia. That's why the sun there feels so much harsher on the skin than here. Over there, I won't go out without putting on sunblock first!
Er ren shi jie... that's what I want for myself! Maybe, I should whatthehell just go for matchmaking. At least, bring some huge Singapore souvenir back to Melbourne, y'know! -

Much cheaper to get them here than in Melbourne although when it comes to the Korean TV Series, cheaper in Melbourne cause they are on compressed DVD's, so the entire series only A$19-27 nia! -

Actually, I heard from a lot of migrants that their first few years were bad! It's really tough and a lot of them confess to being depressed in the beginning.
Nice to know cause it means I'm normal, going through what I experienced. I think it's worse being there all alone with no friends nor family.
But oh well, I survived! I've made friends too! And I do look forward to a great future there!
I'm going to get my PR, learn how to drive then get my very first car, then get a li'l townhouse, then get cats and maybe one Husky, and in the meantime, attend nursing courses to upgrade myself and get the qualifications I want... lots to accomplish and enjoy! -

well, it's about like sg lah. you know those chain stores, say like G2000? well, u see at one mall, u will see at other mall.
anyways, port coquitlam is not far from the city, u can always go jalan jalan in vancouver and richmond. that one, u gotta go.........to see the tng lang. hee heee.
i tink port coquitlam got this hugh supermarket call T&T. u will find it interesting to see something like that in an ang moh country.
check out the province of british columbia for other places of interest. go to stanley park. that is a must. go to their aquarium.
