Has anyone seen Spiderman 3 yet? I saw it last weekend. Not bad but I think the first 2 are better.

Anyway, I can't wait to watch Spidey. He's my childhood hero.
Frankly speaking, though, Peter Parker is a greater hero to me than Spider-Man is. Bullied in school, treated as an outcast, shy and misunderstood... I see a lot of me in him.

Heck, I was bullied right up till after I went into the army. And even when I went to work at Pan Pacific Hotel two years ago, the other bellmen picked on me.
When I finally became a third sergeant, though... the bullying suddenly stopped. I guess they realised that I can exact revenge of them if and when I wanted to (which I didn't).
Which goes to show that bullies really are ball-less cowards at heart. They pick on people they deem smaller than them in order to feel bigger.
And when they realise that they're not so big after all... they whimper in one corner. -
One of the sites I went to in Geelong is next to a dog racing track. Someone was training their greyhound yesterday. The greyhound was busy chasing the "rabbit".
My friend told me that all the greyhounds are trained in the way that they should never be allowed to catch the "rabbit". Apparently, if they manage to catch it, the dogs will lose their competitiveness and will never race again.
Has anyone of you heard of that before? Not sure if that's a fact or a myth. -

While you probably think you're over it now, the resentment and "unforgiveness " within you (deep deep inside) might still affect you in many ways. I think the so-called "rabbit" the dog is chasing is just a wooden trolley and it's not real rabbit. So I think once they found out what they are chasing are "fake", they lost the thrill of chasing them again.Originally posted by the Bear:myth.. them dogs will chase anything

My answer? No, I don't hate them. Touch my heart. The way I see it, they bullied me precisely because they felt inferior to others. So in their twisted way of thinking, they choose to assure themselves that they're not so inferior after all by picking on the 'easy targets'.
He then asked.... 'What about the fact that you've helped them so much (as a medic)? Do you hate them for treating you badly in spite of all the good that you've done for them?'
My answer? Once again, no. When I help people, I help those in need of my skills regardless of whatever history I may have with them. If they want to bite the hand that feeds them, then that's their problem.... I'm a practicing Muslim, and what I do believe is that when the time comes for them to answer for why they chose to pick on that nice medic who treated them well... good luck to them.
He then asked the most important question of all.... 'Do you forgive them?'
To this day.... I'm not sure whether I can really answer that.
So yeah... I guess I do have some issues that need to be worked out.
