We are good, thank you! Just had dinner not long ago. Came home late tonight as I went to Geelong today for some site visits. Had a long day.
Supposed hubby had a good day as he just found out he got the position he applied for (within the same company) and has got a pay rise. So he's happy.
Looks like you're really into anything about Korean nowadays. The immersion program sounds interesting. How much would it cost? -

I think I've more or less accepted that my main source of income over the holidays would come from giving tuition to my two younger cousins. It's not a lot of dosh, but it's enough to pay my bills and to put food into my tummy.
And besides, I did manage to get the one-week John Little roadshow job. And the two-week ICT isn't exactly voluntary either... a combat 3SG's pay over 14 days (2 days medic referesher course + 12 days ICT) should exceed over $200.
Bottom line.... I don't think it's worth it to work in the highly-stressful 7 Eleven job for a pathetic $3.50/hour. -

Money isn't everything. And I know how incredibly taxing it was... and the $3.50/hour is incredibly low. I would have thought that they would increase the pay after all these years, but it turns out that they haven't.
Interesting and exciting people? I've had boys in school uniforms yelling profanities at me for not wanting to sell ciggies to them, adults yelling at me when I refuse to sell liquor for lack of identification, little schoolchildren treating the store like their own playground... sheesh.
I can understand that customer service is important, but not to the extent of treating the customer service agent with such contempt. -

Same with the 7-Eleven and other 24-hour convenience stores here. Pay is low (usuallly at minimum wage), and working conditions are dreadful and oftentimes downright dangerous.
