fren was on messenger with me earlier on. He is seriously working out to fly me to Germany to live with him for a while.
I am seriously considering that option, except that his wife is in Singapore and refusing to fly over Germany. The moral ethics is kinda eating me up at the moment. I mean as a friend, I really wouldnt mind going over, like a holiday.
But I dont think he is after soo simple as friendship and company. -

strange that it is mentioned today.
Cos yesterday, was chatting with my sister and I told her this:
I was the deployment officer for the night at the police station one time.
So after deploying the officers. I was still seated at the office and filling in another form for submission to the station Ops room.
Then I picked up a call. Turns out, it an officer's wife. She called to ask whether her husband is errrmmmmm.....working tonight cos he had told her he is.
I was like looking thru the attendance sheets and my deployment and even my other list which they were to indicate that officers are interested to be working on those nights.
I dont see that guy name in my lists.
My heart was like 'jia lat'!
So I told her: "Well, i dont have him on my deployment, maybe because he came in earlier, and I only just came into the office. He most likely is on the earlier deployed group or the plain clothes team."
The wife went:"Yah, he wont answer phone calls and he says he is working tonight!"
So I breathe a sigh of relief and replied: "yah....he could be on a raid or an ambush and cant answer the phone."
When actual fact, I know that bugger is probably off with his mistress or g/f at whatever location.
From then onwards, i always throw in a lecture to my new recruits. You want to lie about it. For heavens sake, let that duty officers knows how to cover for you first. -

back from a staff meeting thingy where my project was shown to the senior management..
it shows a lot when the No.1 has nothing to say and one other member has a lot to say.. all nonsense...
he just showed to the No.1 that he has no idea what is going on, no idea what his division does, and is only interested in scoring points while talking out the both sides of his mouth
the No.1 tossed a barb into him, everyone winced because it was a point-blank prod... and the guy didn't even feel it.. and went on with his rant..
now, my effing project may have to be redone because of this asswipe.. and the worst thing about it is that the No.1 has to "make sure the troops are happy"
i have a feeling that the No.1 is just setting up that asshat for a hammering..
but... i'm fricken caught in the crossfire.. -
