sitting at the desk.. waiting for the damned fire drill... want to get it over with...
i've had my 7 hours sleep.. so why the heck am i so tired?
worse still, gotta work this weekend.. both saturday and sunday...
but things look good for the weekend of 12/13 may not have to work

^$@$ lah.. the last time really got to evacuate, i see a lot of people with totally no brains at all...
the earthquake thing, sensible people went to places where things like ceilings and falling masonry will not smash them to pieces...
idiots like my HR side evacuated the building.. and stood under the bloody building, under the bloody glass roof.. i walked past them, said "hey! get out of here you idiots! you want to die izzit?? it's a bloody tremor... and if things fall off the building, you're standing underneath a bloody glass ceiling.. and all of you will be slashed to mincemeat.."
only then did they move away from the bloody place...
common sense just isn't that common anymore -

thing is, we evacuated not because there was a general evacuation order...
think about it... i'm on the 2nd floor... the HR fellas are on the 9th.. they were all assembled downstairs before us guys from the 2nd floor got there...
that says a lot, doesn't it?
we evacuated because the clerical officers got news on their mobiles from other clerical officers who were walking down the stairs... i just said to all of them "the guys upstairs are running for it.. get out now!"
and found the HR fellas standing under the aforementioned glass roof..
then i got a call from the Policy guys that they were evacuating..
they're on the same floor as the HR people...
now, there's another story in itself.. -

we have the choice to prevent death or just sit idly by and let death happen just because we have something to gain from their deaths?
it's a no-brainer for people like me.. without a thought, i'd try my best to save them...
