Sigh... Day 3 and I've fallen ill.
Actually, voice started to become hoarse last night after the meal. THink I've gotten the flu. 
Feeling feverish today, and cannot talk anymore.

To be frank, it seems to be less of a pimple and more of a subdural haematoma. -

turning on the airconditioning and going to collapse.. unfortunately, my mad aunt has arrived one day early and will be bugging me again tonight.. she's gone out with her old friends for dinner... and i met their daughter again after about.. many decades.. she's now a very pretty lady

Think it's some flu bug that got to us. Flu usually happens very suddenly. Haiz... a few of my colleagues told me that usually when they take home leave, they will fall ill for the first few days one. Didn't expect it to happen to me.

Whatever the case, it seriously looks as though blood is pooling under the zit or something.
And it's conspicuously on my left cheek.... if it were on my upper lip or chin, my facial hair would at least obscure it....

Oh well... I guess I can't complain too much. At least my complexion's a lot clearer than just one year ago.
I read an internet article on a DIY treatment that involves slathering 2.5% benzoyl peroxide liberally all over the face followed by facial moisturiser. I was initially sceptical, but considering my acne, there was no harm trying.
Lo and behold... within two weeks, my complexion cleared up. I still get the occasional zit, but it's still a lot better than in the past.
It's just that this current zit is the biggest one in a long, long time... and it chose to pop up in the wrong location at a very, very bad timing.

If your date rejects you based on an acne, then don't you think you really ought to reconsider dating her again?
A truly priceless date will giggle at life's temporary imperfections with you and know that bad things shall come to pass, but they're just temporary hiccups in the overall journey of life.
