i watched Disc 1 of Aeon Flux with Chris
He said "This cartoon is too chiem for me"
I think it's pretty thought provoking and there was one which I found disturbing >< -
I loved Paranoia Agent, a Jap anime, because there was a hidden meaning in it and the themes were very dark. I never guessed the ending and it just took my breath away! I had to sit there and think for a while before I went, "Orh... Understand now!"
Didn't know they won't check the DVD's in my luggage, otherwise, av would get his Hostel and I would've brought a few more anime along!
The latest one I saw is "Elfen Lied", and I saw the entire series selling at a reasonable price! If it's still there when I return, it's mine!

THink there might be a violent element to it cause it's about this ... android, I think, who goes around killing people but she only listens to a few humans she grew attached to or something.
There's another new Jap anime about the supernatural and some hunters... can't remember the title but waiting for the entire series to be released.
I'm also eyeing the Appleseed series, although it costs about A$100 right now for the entire series.
Do you think they'll ever release the Rurounin Kenshin series again? I know that they have just re-released the Cowboy Bebop series. -

The appleseed movie is excellent, really good.
I personally enjoyed aeonflux too. Oh wait, the movie. I never watched the anime. -
