First day here, I forgot about climate considerations and slathered on the moisturisers like I had to do back in Melbourne. Oh yes, back to bad skin in Sg. While you're here I guess you could indulge in the cooling stuff like chin chow and liang teh. Are you switching to a less thick moisturiser or stop using altogether?
So, ok, that night, very very thin layer of two moisturisers. The next morning, very very thin layer of one moisturiser and another of sunscreen. And that night, a very very thin layer of just one moisturiser.
Last night, skipped the moisturiser altogether!
Yeah, it shall be tough getting back to work!
I only took two or three days of annual leave prior to this vacation, and when I return, I shall have quite a few days left. THinking if I should travel to Phuket with the Club 30 folks but not quite sure if it'll work out cause there are so many things I need to save up for. Besides, I haven't learnt how to dive yet and I'm also not sure I wanna take on the extra expenses that learning will incur so then... what to do in Phuket if I can't dive and everyone else goes diving?

Oh...I just found out that a nearby Sports Chalet Outlet has a Instore deep pool for training for PADI.
And its cheap!
Just that the schedule for the next class is in July. So its kinda tight timing, since I am going to be flying within the states in July.

Heheh yeah I have never used moisturisers so religiously as I did last week.
Still can snorkel or take boat trips out to explore the islands. ... But maybe the point of it all is to do nothing

Well, I think there are places in Asia that are selling plastic surgery holiday packages. THey actually have well-trained and experienced surgeons. There have been botched-up jobs though. I guess you're not supposed to binge-eat after the ops but rather, just soak in the resort atmosphere and enjoy lounging by the beaches, etc. -

Basically, I believe in Karma. I was a good kid until my young adult years, so to prevent the Karma from happening to me, I shan't have any kids! The Karma stops with me!

Actually, av also quite kwai zai! After he explained to us what he was doing to make him unable to turn up for the Carnivore feast, I was in awe of him. Can sacrifice self interests for the sake of family unity... not bad!
That's why despite really not feeling well and not wanting to go to Perth, I've decided to kwai kwai go.
I told my mom though that if I really feel unwell, I'll just stay in the hotel room. 
Ah well, at least it's a compromise. *sulk... -
Y'know, come to think of it, sometimes, kids are the source of arguments amongst couples. Maybe the husband doesn't like the way the wife treats the kids and vice versa, they disagree and start to argue and then both end up fuming mad at each other. Day in, day out, they see the same thing persist, they can't stand it, but they can't do anything about it to change the other party, so the anger festers...
I guess it depends on how headstrong the husband and wife are. Besides, sometimes both want the 'best' for their kids but they just don't agree on what 'the best' is.
Maybe the husband wants the kid to experience a carefree, adventurous life and wants to let the kid run around and play freely but the wife wants to keep the kid safe and protected... Y'know, stuff like that can tear a couple further and further away from each other until finally, what you get is an empty shell of a marriage, where both parties have learnt to put up with each other, and things aren't so bad to warrant a divorce, but yet things can never be lovey-dovey again cause both have a little resentment towards each other.
There... an alternative viewpoint that, IMO, is very realistic. -
