that said, the chinese (and the indians) are a very urban people ... their development shall have a deep impact on this planet ... for the worse ... -

When the Europeans were still plundering and fighting like barbarians (Vikings) and just boiling meat in salt water, the chinese were writing poems and admiring art and eating with utensils! -

and in 15 years time ... they'll move into the spratleys ..... and not us, not any nation in south east asia, and not the US 7th fleet, can stop that from happening ......

Its more like demand for raw materials and fossil fuels will increase (are increasing now actually) as they develop, and these 2 huge countries wil need ALOT.
