  I hope they don't push it too much by asking for family pics everywhere we go!

  All the best! Try to enjoy your trip to Perth... btw, Barrack Street in town has v. yummy Prima Taste cafe, and there's also an internet cafe nearby in case you get 'withdrawal symptoms'

  Not going all the way to Perth to eat at Prima Taste! Will wait till I'm back in SG first.

  back for a while after lunch already..
  
  sometimes, i wonder if people stare at me when i eat alone... i kinda inhaled lunch... the time spent lining up for the food was a lot longer than when i sat down to eat.. in fact, i finished, the drink appeared

  he tilts his head back, opens his throat and pours it down.
  
  and macam like he doesn't need to breath!
  
  he's a human solenoid valve.

  Umm.. umm... actually the trip from Sg-Perth quite boring... nothing much to take (seriously!) I've always preferred the trip back to Sg especially at night cos the night shots from the air are just beautiful. In Perth, all you see is flat land & more flat land

  Honestly, it won't be so straightforward. You'll go through a whole gamut of emotions as you leave your country. This country does have its merits too and the US sure ain't all purty!
  
  I was relieved when I finally got my Visa and everything was ready for departure. When I saw my dear buddies at the airport though, I started to feel a bit of heartache that I'll be leaving them and won't get to see them again for a long while. THen talking to them perked me up cause a few of them were talking about the things to look forward to there and how I've finally achieved my dream.
  
  Gave a huge sigh, said my last goodbye's, a round of hugs, picked up bags, walked through the departure entrance.
  
  Everything was alright until I looked back from the departure lounge and saw my friends and family there... all standing near the glass doors, a few waving, a few talking... Tears started to well up...
  
  I tried to control my tears but couldn't. I walked very briskly, head down, towards the Ladies. I was excited to leave, but sad to be away from my friends, and I really didn't know what to expect over there and I will be there alone.
  
  I've come to realise this - there's never a perfect place on earth to settle in and sink your roots in. Rather, it's more a matter of which place appeals to you more and you can put up with the shortcomings more. Basically, humans are flexible survivors and I think the cowboys / Red Indians used to say something like wherever I lay my head, shall be my home.
