I used to always booked for the Daimler Chrysler quarterly makan session.
They really BBQ the lamb on the sand, open air.
And you get your food from a pavilion on the sand and you can sit under the stars to makan, on the sand.
Or most of us will just drag the chairs across the sand, gather near the lamb and the food pavilion and eat w/o the tables or cutleries.
Then there is almost free flow of sponsored beers & wines.

Changi Beach Club also got a 2 storey kelong style restuarant right?
Where the lower level is built directly above the water with woods planks?
On the far side of the club, entrance near the swimming pool?
Their ala carte also quite good!
A bit open air place, but sheltered and cooled with fans? -

Currently, I do like the BYO Kitchen hosted by this guy called "Aristos" or something, coz he always tell you alternative way of doing things, like if you don't have a electric mixer on hand, just use the back of a spatula or fork and arm power to do the job.

yeah.. the best and most endearing part of her show is at the end when they show her, in her nightclothes, raiding the fridge for things she made earlier and obviously enjoying the eating
alternatives, yeah.. i figure after pottering around the kitchen, most will know what to do... but some new pointers are always good
