way too much.. for the good of the children

I think that it's a good idea for me to continue living far far away from my stubborn dad and opinionated mom.

So many things happened during the tour, we all agreed unanimously it's going to be the one and only family tour!

Well, they can go with bro and his wife, but count me out!

I really wanted to vomit blood! Told mom last week to please do an internet check-in for the flight. OK. Reminded her. OK. Morning of the flight, asked her, what internet check-in?

Then I tried to do it for her before she left for work, she was beside me making all manner of negative comments like not necessary, what for so much trouble, yada-yada, like some pesky housefly buzzing around my ear!

Then asked her to call brother and his wife for their passport details, she thinks they are too precious to disturb in the morning.

In the end, she tried to do it in the office, and only changed her own seat, somehow didn't change everyone else's, so she would have ended up sitting all alone but a lovely SIA counter staff helped us and I ended up in my preferred window seat, with the next two seats beside me empty!

Coming back, told dad, look at signboard, it says, get passport, completed immigration form, and boarding pass ready. He insists there's no need to fill up the form. I point to the signboard. See! It says fill up a form. I've come to Australia so many times liao, I'm telling you no need to fill up any forms! So, fine, I walk away from his protests, fill up form. Everyone else follows. True enough, form needed.

So much for fostering close family ties.
