Yeah... I remember reading about this teacher who got into a forbidden relationship with one of his students.
And the girl got pregnant and had to have an abortion.
He justified his actions by saying that 'Not all teachers are saints' and that he has seen other teachers cheat on their spouses, flirt with their students, etc etc.
Gosh man... so if another tutor takes advantage of his student, I get the permission to take advantage of my students?

OK, you don't need to speak to us, hisoka. You need to speak to a trained professional, someone who's an expert in criminal pathology!
You know what? If you make statements like that as a college student in the States, your tutor can alert the school authorities about your disturbing thoughts and you can then be called up and sent for counselling! -

Nothing would please me more than having him sacked.
Hell, sack all 'mercenary teachers' who are in the teaching profession solely for the money.... I've seen first hand the kind of damage these asswipes inflict on our kids.
I say that if you have no passion for teaching, then you should do Singapore a favour and stay out of the teaching profession. -

the schools in the states has dumb rules and stuff at the schools. kids get expelled cos they are asian and quiet and some idiot feels uncomfortable around him/her. + you can't wear a trench coat or a ski mask without getting pounced on and expelled and interrogated by the police.....Originally posted by Rhonda:

Well, to be fair, teaching is a very tough job these days, especially with all the crap policies/initiatives coming out from MOE and students are themselves in a position to do a lot of damage to their teachers. i was this close to telling my boss "WTF is wrong with you??" just a while ago...
we need a "profile" of some people we bust..
thing is.. how the hell can you do a profiling study of those people when the numbers are so bloody small??
and you know what? there actually is a "profiling study"
i wonder if those guys who did that know that since the population size is that small, it will give crap results -

It's true that a small sample size will produce inaccurate, skewed results. That's like one of the fundamental principles of statistics! -
