yeah, its frustrations for everyoneOriginally posted by Rhonda:Should've started this discussion in a new thread, Lau!
One of my nursing colleagues in Melbourne used to be a Police Officer and she related to me how pissed she got with women who'd turn up in the Police Station accusing their dates / spouses of rape or molestation and they were obviously using it as some sort of threat to the men. She said it got so rampant that she had this uncontrollable urge to scream at the women to stop abusing the law and wasting police resources.
I think too often, the criminal paints a picture of him/herself as a victim of his/her circumstances in life yada-yada, hoping to get away scot-free or get a lesser sentence.
No matter what, a crime had been committed and the chase ensued because a good Samaritan wanted to help catch the criminals and in a tussle / struggle, of course there'll be bodily contact.![]()
So, in order to appear fair, I'm sure the authorities will investigate the matter to see if it's really a valid charge or if it was just an unintentional placement of hands over certain body parts because the criminal was struggling to escape and it was somehow inadvertent.
Molestation charge or not, it should not over-ride the original charge and they definitely have to look at the context.

Yes, very sad. People no longer act responsibly and face the consequences of their actions but instead, try to get away with murder.Originally posted by laurence82:yeah, its frustrations for everyone
nowadays things are no longer simple
its no longer 'yes i did it no i didnt do it'
its more of 'if can, pin the blame on others and act victim'
sad sia our society

My day was spent at home. I'm trying to get well fast so I've been resting, napping, taking my meds punctually, taking lots of fluids.Think that trip to Perth did me more harm than good.
Anyways, I'm determined to get well so I can go out and meet my friends and get my stuff done.
How's the weather in Melbourne now? Have we been getting sufficient rain?

Yeah... but felt quite sick the whole day, didn't wanna eat anything that's not porridge or soup but the thing is, there's no nice porridge stall near my house and I felt a bit too weak and giddy to step out anyways.Originally posted by Wanda:Don't you feel hungry or weak, skipping meals like this?

We touched down at Changi in the early morning, returned home to freshen up, then dad drove us to Kallang to eat the famous Lor Mee!Originally posted by honeymouse:Hope you feel better soon and in time to catch up with all your friends before you leave Singapore again.
The weather in Melbourne has been quite mild, had a bit of rain last week that's all. Still not enough to fill up the dam unfortunately.
What did you do yesterday for Mother's Day? We took my in-law out for lunch at the winery. Very nice.![]()
No, you shouldn't. You have been to this far to let your back recover, so just be a little bit patient and wait another few months.Originally posted by the Bear:i'm wondering.. should i go bowling later?
