It's different from the Kampong chicken
Each has it's own unique flavor but both very good
And both of them have chicken with a layer of jelly under the skin!
Kampong Chicken
Smaller chickens and less fat and tender and flavourful meat
Delicious Chicken (That is the name of the stall btw)
Very plump and juicy tender chicken
Rice wise, both are also good
Oh btw for Delicious Chicken you get free flow achar and pickled vegetables

Got mine at USD15.99/- And its stated there its a Petite Size.
Its definitely good enough to use as a gag back in the office.
One more guy dare to mention about testing their dickes...and I can throw thatt novelty toy at them to ask them....'This is a Petite. You can beat its size then we talk.' -

2 tablespoons of potassium, 2 tablespoons of salt, 1/8 tablespoon of garlic powder, 1/3 cup of bottled chicken concentrate, a dash of white pepper, 5 cups water...
mix all the above together, and soak the chicken in it... best if done for 24 hours under refrigeration... can use MSG but I tend not to...
next you will need...
1 egg well beaten
2 cups Milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground pepper
3 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon MSG (optional)
1/8 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/8 teaspoon Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 dash paprika
Preheat deep fryer to about 350deg.
In a small bowl, combine the egg and milk. In a separate bowl, combine
the remaining dry ingredients. Dip each piece of chicken (which was previously marinated...) into the milk until fully moistened. Roll the moistened chicken in the flour mixture until well coated. Working with one piece at a time, first dip in egg and milkthen coat the chicken with the dry flour mixture, then the
egg and milk mixture again, and then back into the flour. Be sure that each piece is coated very generously. Stack the chicken on a plate or cookie sheet until each piece has been coated. Drop the chicken, one piece at a time into the hot oil. Fry half of the chicken at a time (4 pieces) for 12-15 minutes, or until it is golden brown. You should be sure to stir the chicken around halfway through the cooking time so that each piece cooks evenly. Remove the chicken to a rack or towels to drain for about 5 minutes before eating.
above should do about 8 pieces of chicken... -

One of the best I've tried!
But too bad, everytime I wanted to eat coconut, I am heaty, so I avoided them as much as possible.
Would love to order from them wedding cakes too. Really traditional style baking.
Surprise to see this kind of old style bakery in a shopping centre though. -
